The cost for registering a second family member is $40 and $30 for a third. There is no cost for registering a fourth player or beyond. The registration fee includes a team jersey and cap. It also includes all coach's equipment fees and all umpire game fees that are usually charged by other leagues on a per game basis.
To play at West Brownsville Little League, players must meet two requirements: league age and zoning.
League Age Requirements
If your child is between the ages of 4 and 12 according to the league age charts, they have met the first eligibility requirement to play. To determine your child's league age, please refer to the tab labeled "Determining League Age" on the left-hand side of our main page.
Residency Requirements
The second requirement is zoning. Little League rules require players to play within their zone. A player is considered to be in our zone if they live or attend school within the West Brownsville Little League in-zone area. To find out if you are in our zone, please refer to the tab labeled "Map" located on the left-hand side of our main page. On the pull down menu, click on "Boundary Map". The boundary map can be zoomed in to look for your child's school or place of residence. If you are inside the red highlighted area, you have met the second eligibility requirement to play.
COMING SOON........New boundaries have been agreed upon by each of the Brownsville Little League organizations, but final approval is still pending from Little League Headquarters. Once approval has been met, the map below with the new boundaries will be official. If you live outside our existing boundary, but within the NEW 2019 BOUNDARY, we will accept your registration. However, we may have to hold it temporarily pending final approval from Little League Headquarters.
