The WBLL AllStar teams had mixed results. In the Senior division (13-16 year olds), the WBLL AllStars beat the Weslaco AllStars 11-1. Their next game is this evening (Sunday) at 7:30 in Weslaco.
In the 11-12 year old division, the West Brownsville team was eliminated by the East Brownsville AllStars, losing 13-14. They came up short after coming from behind in dramatic fashion and stranding the tying run on third base.
In the 10-11 year old division, the West Brownsville team lost 3-16 against the North Brownsville AllStars. They play again this evening at 7:30 in Laguna Madre LL in an elimination game versus the winner of the Weslaco/Edinburg winner.
In the 9-10 year old division, the West Brownsville team claimed the East Zone bracket championship and remained unbeaten by beating the East Brownsville AllStars 15-1. Their next game is on Monday in Harlingen (Pendleton Park) at 7:30 versus the Rio Grande City AllStars, who claimed the West Zone bracket championship and also remain unbeaten.
