One of the oldest tournaments in our city is the Brownsville Metro Area Little League Championship. It began in the 1950's and is still being played annually today.
The tournament is by invitation only, and open to only the 1st and 2nd place finishers from West Brownsville, East Brownsville, North Brownsville, and Los Fresnos Little Leagues in both major and minor divisions.
This year's tournament begins June 3 and runs through June 6. Tonight's games begin at 5:45. West Brownsville is the host site for this year's get together.
Snacks are available at the snack bar. Admission to all Little League games is always free.
