Our boys and girls teams were eliminated with tough losses in their final games of the Texas West State Tourney. Our 12U boys lost their final game to Snyder Little League 9-8, after leading 5-0. Our 10U girls lost their final game to Greater Helotes Little League by a score of 3-2.
With that said, our season has officially ended. On behalf of the WBLL Officers and Board Members, we would like to thank all players, coaches, and especially parents for making this season and extended season a great one. This year we enrolled more players than ever before. We had a resurgence of our softball program. We upgraded and made repairs to the park, which is a city asset. We entered six teams into the Allstar Tourney, with three of six winning a District Championship. Two of those teams, became Sectional Champions and advance to the state tourney.
We look forward to our next season. Registration will begin in January 2017, with the regular season starting in April. Lookout for announcements on our website and Facebook page as we get closer. DXC
