It’s that time of year again, time to determine our City Champion from amongst all local leagues. This year’s tourney will feature the top three finishers at EBLL versus the to three finishers at WBLL in both the Minors and Majors Divisions.
This year’s Majors Division tourney will take place at EBLL. The Minors Division Tourney will take place at WBLL.
Come support and cheer for your favorite team.
As always, admission to all games is free.
A reminder, Closing Ceremonies are scheduled for Saturday, June 9 - 3pm.
Our annual raffle fundraiser money is due Friday, May 18. A league officer will be available for money to be turned in at 7pm at the concession stand.
Unlike the BBQ Sandwich Fundraisers, whose funds are earmarked for the Park Beautification & Renovation Project, the Annual Raffle Fundraiser monies are used for general operating expenses.
Your participation and cooperation is appreciated. The money we raise from our annual raffle is money we count on to keep the league afloat, just to pay our minimum expenses. Our current registration fee is $50 per player.

A big thank you is owed to a lot of people for making our two part BBQ Sandwich Fundraiser a big success. The two part fundraiser was held on consecutive Saturdays: Part one on May 5, and Part two on May 12. The purpose of both of these fundraisers was to raise money towards the Beautification and Renovation of WBLL Park as a dollar for dollar match towards money already committed to us by a foundation and the city.
Thank you to our WBLL parents for selling tickets. For each ticket sold, approximately $4.59 went directly towards the park project after expenses. Thank you to those parents, coaches, and volunteers that came out to help with the food preparation and food distribution.
And, thank you especially to our sponsors that donated to our cause with cash or in-kind services:

Smokin’ Joes BBQ - prepared and chopped our briskets for our part two event.

Our goal for the two part fundraiser was to raise $10,000. Although we don’t have final figures yet, all indications are that we hit or came real close to hitting that number. Exact numbers will be posted soon.
