Sponsorship Opportunities (UPDATED 4/26/21)
Thank you for your interest in sponsorships for our league. Sponsors like you can and do make all the difference in the quality of the program we have been able to establish and run over the years.
West Brownsville Little League is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We have been a proud fixture in Brownsville for decades and have been recognized as one of the oldest youth organizations in our community with a record of over 66 years of continuous operation. As a baseball and softball league, we provide instructional and competitive divisions for children age 4-14. We also provide unique opportunities for our end-of-season Allstar teams to advance to city-wide, regional, state, and even internationally recognized tournaments. Last year, we registered over 600 players and enlisted over 150 volunteer coaches, including players and coaches for our new Challenger Division for children with special needs. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, our organization did not get an opportunity to play any games in 2020.
This year, we have already been approved to resume semi-normal activities, subject to certain modifications we have made to comply with COVID protocols.
As such, we are so very excited to get back into action as well as unveil our $1M park renovation that we very patiently went through over the last three years after raising these funds through league barbecues, grants, and several large private and public donations. Some of our new amenities include a shiny new Challenger Field, artificial turf for existing fields, lighted batting cages, improved drainage, new parking lots, a new special needs playground, a new exercise walking path, new shade trees, new benches, new picnic tables, new scoreboards, new signage, and a new special needs bathroom. The new T-ball/Challenger field was created specifically for kids who are mobility impaired, which is something truly unique for Brownsville and all of Cameron County. The park will become a new year-round home to the many families who have children with special needs who have never had access to this specific type of specialty field.
To help meet these demands and also to help keep registration fees affordable, we will continue to rely on company sponsorships to make up the difference needed to provide uniforms, replace worn equipment, and other direct expenses our league requires. The league offers various cost-effective sponsorship levels that allow our sponsor’s information to be displayed on field banners, team uniforms, team schedules, league website, and our league Facebook page.
In addition to our normal sponsorships, we do have three field-naming sponsorships available. These field-naming sponsorships will be reserved for our marquee sponsors and will prominently be displayed at the scoreboard level of each respective field. The sponsor's name will also be used year-round when referring to each particular field such as “ABC Automotive Field”. The cost for each field sponsorship will be as follows: Major’s or Minor’s Field - $5,000, and Challenger Field - $7,500. Discounts for multiple years paid in advance are available.
We sincerely hope that you will consider supporting our efforts. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact myself or any board member listed on our website.
