Part 2 of our fundraiser is scheduled for this coming Saturday, May 12, 11am-2pm. In order to cook enough briskets and not cook too many, we need parent’s and coaches’ assistance.
We are asking that parents turn in ticket money and unsold tickets to your coach by this Wednesday (May 9). We are asking coaches to call in a hard count of the number of tickets sold by your team by Wednesday evening and to turn in all money and unsold tickets by no later than Thursday (May 10). Briskets will be cooked overnight on Thursday and we are only buying enough to satisfy the number of tickets sold, so your cooperation would really be appreciated.
We are only $6,000 away from hitting our goal for these two fundraisers. Everyone dollar raised by these two fundraisers will be matched dollar for dollar with commitments already made by the city towards our project. Overall, when this fundraiser is over, we should be at around $340,000 of total money raised for our project. All of this money will be spent on Beautification & Improvement of WBLL Park.
